Hello beautiful people!
Hope you are having a wonderful week - wherever on this earth you reside in.
Exams are over, it's almost the holidays and I finally have time to make lots of blog posts for you all, which is very exciting. There are also some exciting collaborations coming up - stay tuned!
Today is quite a different post to usual. Often I get asked how I came up with the name for my blog (no I didn't name it after the chocolate bar), so today I am going to share with you how I came up with the name + show you all a gorgeous new playsuit.
During early 2014, I decided to try blogging. The original name for the blog: 'The Blue Butterfly' (cheesy I know) was named after an episode of a TV show I liked. As I got the hang of blogging and realised that it was a hobby that I wanted to keep up, I began thinking of another name. This was one of the hardest aspects of blogging as the name of your blog is what people first see when they visit your blog. The name needed to encapsulate my views on the world. A quote that I came across inspired me - it went something like this: "there's something comforting about having the power to influence people and act as your desire, yet at the same time exist as but a tiny speck in the universe." Throwing around some words, I finally came up with 'Milky Way Blog' and the name stuck.
Hope you enjoy the shoot I put together. It has some different styled edits, featuring a gorgeous playsuit from Saints + Secrets. The playsuit's geometric/ floral design is perfect for Summer.
