A few days ago, a friend who I haven't seen in a couple of years wrote to me and said that she had read my previous bullet journal post and had started one! Since that was a little while ago that I wrote that (and some of you new readers won't have seen that post), I thought I'd give you an update on my bullet journal and maybe it can help you start one or even get some ideas for your store-bought diary.
For those of you who missed my last post, click here to read about what a bullet journal is, why I prefer it over a store bought diary/ planner and how you can set up your own one. I first heard about bullet journaling in January when I was getting organised for the year ahead and have been using the system since (so for over 5 months). I find inspiration for layout ideas mainly from Pinterest and Tumblr and others I make up as I go.
My favourite layouts that I have been using:
gratitude log
study tracker
monthly memories
daily logs
gratitude log
study tracker
monthly memories
daily logs
Layouts that I haven't used frequently:
expenses log
monthly overview
monthly habit tracker
Layouts that I'd like to incorporate into next month:
places I have visited
blog post/ YouTube video ideas
weekly goals
food log
exercise diary
Here is flip through of my bullet journal (I haven't included every page as there are over 100!) If you're interested in starting one, hopefully this can give you some inspiration on some layouts to use. During the school term, I film myself setting up each day so head over to my snapchat (milkywayblogger) if you'd like to see that and also see other snippets from my day.
Hope you are all well,
Much love as always

Every time I start a new page, I will put down the page number and write it down at the start (I don't pre-plan what will go where).
I got this idea from Kara who runs the blog Boho Berry. Pretty much you write down the 10 key aspects of your life (I added a small description under each one) and then on the left page, you rate how you are going. Every time I make an improvement in one area, I colour in another part of the circle.
